That’s how we’re going to make a difference, and it’s the motivation behind everything we do.
Wherever you are in life, you have a purpose. You also should be planted in a church.
With our 2 class system; we want to help you become the person God has created you to be and become a partner here at Hope. It could start with serving, finding God’s vision for your life, giving, or joining us regularly.
With a strong community of friends, you can laugh, grow, and serve with people who genuinely care about you.
On November 24, 2002, seventeen people inlcuding children gathered in the family room of Pastor Trevón & Pastor Qwynn Gross. God put on their heart to build a family of committed believers who actively demonstrate compassion to each other and those who are far away from God!
Each week God brought more people to the family who share a passion to provide help, healing and hope to the hurting and lost! After 20 plus years of ministry, our enthusiasm for God and people has not changed. We are making history! Come and be a part! If you have not visited, we invite you to see for yourself how exciting church can be when the focus is simple and people are free to go after God in passion!
We believe that the entire Bible is the inspired word of God and that it is without error. It is the final authority for faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:15, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Matthew 5:18, John 16:12-13).
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten son, who became flesh to reveal God to man and to become the savior of the lost world. (1 Peter 4:5, Romans 14:9, 2 Timothy 4:1). We believe in one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are equal in power and glory. (Deuteronomy 6:4, 2 Corinthians 13:14). We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, salvation occurs only when a person places his or her faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as the sufficient payment for his or her sin, and our justification is made sure by Jesus’ literal, physical resurrection from the dead.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit. He indwells Christians and enables them to live godly lives. We further believe that biblical examples of the Holy Spirit’s power and gifts are available to believers today. (John 1:12-13; 3:3-16; 5:24; 10:28-29; 1 Peter 1:23). We believe that the believers are the church, the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. We recognize believers’ baptism and communion as Biblical means of worship in the church. (Ephesians 1:22-23, 1 Corinthians 12:12-14, 2 Corinthians 11:2, Acts 14:27, 1 Timothy 3:1-3, Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 2:41-42, Acts 18:8, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
We believe that mankind was created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but through Adam’s sin inherited a sinful nature and became alienated in that relationship. As a result, man is completely incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through his own effort. (Genesis 1:26-27, Romans 3:22-23, Romans 5:12, Ephesians 2:1-3, 12).
We believe in the sacredness of marriage between one man & one woman and family commitment. We promote strong family values. (Ephesians 5:31-33; Ephesians 6:1-4; Hebrews 13:4; Matthew 19:5 Leviticus 18:22; Genesis 2:24)
Jesus is our model and we seek to live like Him and for Him every day.
(2 Corinthians 5:14-15; Romans 6:4-14; 1 Peter 1:13-16; Ephesians 5:8-11)
Our lifestyles and decision-making are Spirit-filled and Spirit-led.
(Ephesians 1:14-15; Galatians 5:16-17, 22-25; Romans 8:2, 12-14)
As recipients of God’s love, we demonstrate God’s love to everyone.
(1 John 3:18; Philippians 1:9; John 15:12-13; 1 John 3:16)
God gave His best to us and we give Him our best in everything we do.
(Colossians 3:23-24; Nehemiah 4:6; Proverbs 19:3; Proverbs 13:4)
God loved us and generously gave us Jesus. We follow God’s example by living and giving generously.
(Proverbs 11:24-26; Luke 6:36; 2 Corinthians 9:6-11; Proverbs 21:26)
Our zeal for sharing who Jesus is to everyone especially the next generation consumes us.
(Psalm 69:9; Romans 10:2-2; 2 Samuel 6:14, 22; Luke 10:27)
Because we believe in miracles, we choose to expect the impossible and think innovatively to fulfill God’s will. (Exodus 31:1-11; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14 and 27-31; Proverbs 22:29)
We love people at their best and worse so we work to encourage one another and restore those who fall. (2 Chronicles 16:19; Hebrews 10:23; Hebrews 3:14; 1 Corinthians 15:58)
We choose to focus on the needs and interests of others rather than ourselves.
(Matthew 16:25; Romans 12:1-2; 1 Peter 2:4-5; 1 John 3:18; Ephesians 5:1-2; Philippians 2:3–11)
We face the future with joy and great expectation knowing our best days are ahead of us.
(1 Peter 1:8-9; John 16:23-24; Romans 15:13; Nehemiah 8:10)
Jesus is our model and we seek to live like Him and for Him every day.
